Accounts & Compliance Executive

Role Overview: As an Accounts & Compliance Executive at the leading audit firm in India, your role will involve assisting with day-to-day accounting, auditing, and regulatory compliance activities. You will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing various financial reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally, Zoho, or other accounting software. - Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports. - Support statutory and internal audits by drafting schedules and addressing audit queries. - Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, ROC, and other regulatory returns. - Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable laws. - Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and compliance. - Collaborate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities as necessary. - Provide support in client advisory services related to compliance, audit, and financial management. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, audit, and compliance roles. - Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime, QuickBooks, Zoho, etc. - Familiarity with GST, TDS, ROC filings, and other statutory compliances. - Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail. - Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and basic financial analysis tools.
