Accounts & Compliance Executive

We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Accounts & Compliance Executive to assist with day-to-day accounting, auditing, and regulatory compliance activities. The candidate will support bookkeeping, financial reporting, statutory filings, audits, and ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally, Zoho, or other accounting software. - Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports. - Support statutory and internal audits, including drafting schedules and attending audit queries. - Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, ROC, and other regulatory returns. - Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable laws. - Assist in drafting and maintaining SOPs for accounting and compliance. - Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required. - Support client advisory work in compliance, audit, and financial management. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance. - 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, audit, and compliance roles. - Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally Prime, QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.). - Familiarity with GST, TDS, ROC filings, and other statutory compliances. - Good analytical skills and attention to detail. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. - Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and basic financial analysis tools. Preferred Attributes: - Experience in working with CA firms or compliance consulting firms. - Knowledge of income tax assessments and notices handling is an advantage. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
