Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our Accounts Department at our Head Office in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting fundamentals, data entry, and working knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation. Candidates with strong typing skills and proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and Excel will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate records in Tally ERP 9 and ensure timely posting of entries.
• Assist in GST and TDS documentation and compliance.
• Support in bank reconciliation, vouchers, and related accounting tasks.
• Handle basic accounting correspondence and maintain files and records systematically.
• Coordinate with senior accountants for preparation of MIS and audit support.
• Carry out other allied tasks within the accounts department as assigned.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Minimum B.Com (Graduate in Commerce).
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting; freshers with good typing skills and strong academic background may also be considered.
• Age: 21–35 years.
• Gender: Male candidates preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and MS Excel.
• Good typing speed and accuracy.
• Other Skills:
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
• Attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines efficiently.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (commensurate with experience and skills).
