Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant at Evertz India, you will play a crucial role in the finance team, contributing to the company's financial strategy and overall success. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making. - Preparing accurate and timely financial reports for management review. - Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial processes. - Assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting. - Participating in audits and facilitating responses to audit inquiries. - Ensuring compliance with various accounting standards and regulations such as Shops, PT, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, IT, Import/export. - Computing Income Tax, Advance tax, Tax Provisions, TDS related compliances, and filing. - Ensuring accurate and timely entry of vouchers into the accounting system. - Managing financial transactions in multiple currencies and mitigating foreign exchange risks. - Understanding transfer pricing regulations and their implications for financial reporting. - Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance. - Familiarity with Indian labour laws implementation and filing. - Handling Annual Statutory & Tax Audits from inception till closure. - Knowledge of legislation and procedures pertaining to salary deductions. - Performing other accounting-related tasks as assigned. - Adhering to all prescribed ethical guidelines, including confidentiality. - Understanding the Make in India certification process. Skills and Experience: - 5 years of relevant experience. - CA qualification preferred but not required. - Ability to build and manage financial models in Excel. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. - Effective teamwork skills. - Experience in letter drafting as per statutory requirements. - Coordinating with Statutory and Internal/external Auditors.
