Job Description

Celebration is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of financial activities within the company. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career in accounting within the dynamic events industry. Basic knowledge in tally , Excel sheet, Book keeping accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage incoming and outgoing payments, process invoices, reconcile payments, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Expense Management: Assist in monitoring and recording company expenses, verifying expense reports, and reconciling accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist in Financial Reporting: Support the finance team in preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts as required.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Assist in Audits: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the finance department, including answering inquiries, managing correspondence, and performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
  • Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
