Hiring For Accounts&Finance Manager Role

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll.
  
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and ensure timely submission of reports.
  
• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate posting of journal entries and reconciliations.
  
• Maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial data.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits, filings, and compliance.
  

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor variances and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Provide financial insights and reports to management to support decision-making.
  
• Review cost analysis, expense trends, and profitability reports to identify efficiency opportunities.
  

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure adherence to statutory compliances including TDS, GST, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax.

• File all statutory returns accurately and on time.
  
• Maintain proper documentation for audits, tax filings, and financial records.
  

Team Management

• Lead and mentor the accounting team; assign tasks and review deliverables for accuracy.
  
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide training for skill enhancement.
  
• Foster collaboration with other departments such as Procurement, Operations, and HR for smooth financial functioning.
  

System and Process Improvement

• Implement and improve accounting systems, ERP, and software for process automation.
  
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting activities.
  
• Ensure continuous improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  

Other Key Responsibilities (Optional based on industry)

• Manage vendor payments and customer collections.
  
• Handle cash flow management and fund utilization planning.
  
• Coordinate with banks for financial transactions, loans, and reconciliations.
  
• Support management in internal and external financial audits.
