Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting transactions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Oversee AP/AR processes, ensuring invoices and payments are accurately processed and recorded.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, summarising key variances for management review.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and support month‑end closing to maintain timely financial close cycles.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, providing on‑the‑job training and performance feedback.
• Implement basic accounting controls and procedures to safeguard financial data and support audit readiness.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of accounting experience, with at least some supervisory or lead‑hand responsibility. Creative Financial Staffing
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Teal
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a professional certification (CPA/CMA) is a plus. Barnsco, Inc
• Manufacturing/cost‑accounting exposure preferred, ideally within a small‑to‑mid‑sized production environment.
