Accounting Professor

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Accounting Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in accounting and finance subjects, mentoring students, developing curriculum, and participating in academic research and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures on core accounting subjects such as Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, and Taxation.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments in accordance with curriculum standards.
• Guide and evaluate students in their academic progress, assignments, and project work.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
• Stay updated with current industry practices, accounting standards, and regulatory changes (e.g., GST, Income Tax).
• Participate in curriculum development, academic research, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
• Provide academic advising and career guidance to students.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members in departmental and institutional activities.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, or ACCA are a strong advantage.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education or industry experience in accounting/audit/taxation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to integrate technology and modern teaching methods in the classroom.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Research publications in recognized journals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
