Accounting Controller-E

As an Accounting Controller (Global Entities) at EY, you will be an integral part of the Global Entities Accounting Team, reporting to the CRM. Your primary responsibility will be to manage all statutory and regulatory accounting requirements for the operations of the global entities in your area of responsibility. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide financial input to EY's Leaders - Demonstrate excellent knowledge of key controlling processes such as audit support, accounting, corporate finance, tracking budget and expenses, and analyzing data - Produce and analyze financial statements, including commentary suitable for use at board level - Communicate concise and clear financial information for decision making - Review, understand, and explain variances in management packs - Proactively manage the balance sheet to ensure accuracy - Collaborate with the General Ledger team for accurate processing of transactions and timely accounting closes - Perform critical account reconciliations and generate financial statements for management and statutory purposes - Ensure accurate reflection of group transactions in each entity's financials - Ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements - Act as the primary contact for the external audit team - Regularly assess financial controls and suggest best practices - Ensure compliance with EY's accounting policies - Support Partner-related matters and ad-hoc projects **Qualifications Required:** - Knowledge of Controllership processes, audit, accounting, corporate finance, budgeting, and performance management - Proficiency in managing full local statutory compliance processes - Experience with consolidations within a complex legal entity structure - Strong accounting software skills - Ability to work independently and across multiple priorities - Effective teamwork and communication skills - Analytical thinker with initiative and thought leadership - Strong personal and professional ethic - Open-minded, culturally sensitive, and innovation-driven At EY, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet while fostering trust in capital markets.
