Accounting Assistant

Role Overview: You will join MRI Software as an Accounting Assistant in Gurgaon, working with the Managed Services team for the India region. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the daily functions of the team, reporting to the Senior Director of Support in India, with dotted lines to Managed Services Practice Leaders in NA, EMEA, and APAC. Key Responsibilities: - Assist accountants and team leads with data entry, including keying checks and budgets into software - Perform bank reconciliations - Prepare financial reporting packages as required Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of overall accounting experience - Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting - Technical accounting skills and familiarity with general accounting and GAAP - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Ability to effectively use technology and software for data capture, analysis, and recording - Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Additional Company Details: MRI Software offers various perks to ensure you have the best work experience, including office breakfasts, quarterly lunches, and virtual social events.
