Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in GST, TDS, and Tally to manage our financial transactions, including the preparation of financial statements, managing tax payments, and performing day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with financial reporting, and the ability to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Accounting:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.

- Prepare and maintain financial records, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

2. GST Compliance:

- Handle GST registration, returns, and compliance activities.

- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.

- Manage GST reconciliations and ensure timely payments.

3. TDS Management:

- Calculate and deduct Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) as per government regulations.

- Prepare and file TDS returns accurately and within deadlines.

- Ensure compliance with TDS provisions and manage TDS-related queries and notices.

4. Tally Operations:

- Record and maintain all financial transactions in Tally ERP software.

- Generate financial reports, including ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements using Tally.
