Job Title: Junior Accountant (Xero) – Part-Time / Freelance Scope for a fulltime

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 1–2 years of hands-on experience using Xero. This is not a full-time accountancy role but requires a strong foundation in basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reconciliation. You will work independently in a co-working environment and support the business with ongoing finance tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable
• Support GST returns, payroll entries, and other compliance tasks

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Xero (certification is a plus)
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Comfortable working from a co-working space environment
• Good communication and basic spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with New Zealand tax and accounting practices
• Familiarity with invoicing software, payment platforms, or CRM systems
• Exposure to small business or startup environments

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
