Accountant ( Senior )

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.

Present financial reports to management, providing clear explanations of key findings and recommendations.

Oversee and manage all general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, which includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

Ensure all financial data is recorded in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).

Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.

Ensure all accounting procedures and financial reports comply with legal regulations and company policies.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other government filings.

Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Review the work of team members to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.

Assist in the development and implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.

Support the finance team in developing and managing departmental budgets.

Contribute to financial forecasting activities by providing historical data and analytical insights.
