Accountant (Billing, Tally & TDS Expert)

We are hiring for the role of Accountant for a renowned Herbal & Ayurveda brand established in 2008.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, billing, and financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate must be strong in Billing, Tally (latest version), Excel, and TDS.
Basic knowledge of GST is sufficient.

The role involves handling invoices, maintaining accurate books, supporting monthly accounting activities, and ensuring proper compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage customer and vendor billing
• Record daily financial transactions in Tally (latest version)
• Prepare and maintain sales, purchase & expense entries
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions & related documentation (mandatory)
• Maintain GST-related records (basic knowledge required)
• Reconcile bank statements, invoices & ledgers
• Prepare basic Excel reports and check spreadsheets for accuracy
• Maintain accurate digital & physical accounting records
• Coordinate with internal teams for payment follow-ups
• Support month-end closing and assist during audits

Requirements & Skills

• 2–4 years of experience as an Accountant (Billing/Accounts Executive)
• Strong knowledge of TDS (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / Tally latest version
• Good working knowledge of Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, formulas)
• Basic understanding of GST concepts (minimum requirement)
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential financial data
• Graduation in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (preferred)

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience)

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Timings: 10 AM – 7 PM
