Accountant

Location:Assagao-North Goa (Candidates from Goa preferred)

Technical Skills Required:

• Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting (3–5 years)
• Proficiency in

  Tally Prime

  and

  MS Office

  (especially Excel)
• Sound understanding of

  financial statements

  ,

  applicable taxes

  , and

  operational financials

• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, VAT, Service Tax

• Strong command over English communication

  – written and verbal
• Excellent email drafting and convincing skills

• Key Responsibilities:

  Manage day-to-day accounting operations including

  payables and receivables

• Ensure timely and accurate posting of sales and purchase entries

  in Tally ERP9
• Perform

  bank reconciliations

  , Excel data entries, and maintain general ledgers
• Coordinate with banks for

  APF (Approved Project Finance)

• Prepare MIS reports

  and maintain accurate

  accounting records

• Scrutinize and verify accounting entries; rectify discrepancies when required

• Ensure timely follow-up on party receipts and payments

• Prepare and handle Demand Drafts, Pay Orders, Cheques, RTGS/NEFT

• Responsible for TDS and GST challan

  preparation up to finalization
• Manage

  petty cash

  , bank, and cash transactions
• Process and post

  Credit Notes / Debit Notes

  in Tally and Excel
