Accountant

As an experienced accountant, your role will involve maintaining books of accounts for operations, generating GST-compliant invoices, and ensuring proper tax classification. You will be responsible for bank reconciliation, cash flow tracking, and petty cash management. Additionally, you will prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and coordinate with CA for monthly/annual filings. Monitoring stock valuation, maintaining ledger reconciliation with the billing system, and generating financial reports including daily sales reports, P&L, and outstanding reports will also be part of your key responsibilities. You will need to coordinate with warehouse, billing, and retail teams to ensure stock and accounting accuracy. Assisting with audits, vendor reconciliations, and statutory compliances will also be among your duties. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent) is preferred. - Experience managing accounts for pharma distribution/retail operations is desirable. - Working knowledge of pharmacy billing software (Marg, Unisolve, etc.) is a plus. - Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and GST compliance is required. - Strong attention to detail, integrity, and time management skills are essential. - Good understanding of tax filings, credit/debit notes, and reconciliation procedures is expected. Please note that this is a full-time position based in Bankura, West Bengal, and the expected start date is 01/07/2025. The work location is in person, and the job entails day shifts. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting is required for this role.,
