Job Description

  • Maintain

    books of accounts

    including journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance
  • Handle

    day-to-day accounting transactions

    in accounting software (Tally / ERP)
  • Prepare and file

    GST returns

    (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
  • Ensure

    GST compliance

    for EPC, works contracts, and service invoices
  • Manage

    accounts payable & receivable

    , including vendor and client reconciliation
  • Prepare

    RA bill accounting

    , retention money tracking, and project-wise cost records
  • Handle

    bank transactions

    , payment entries, cheque preparation, and bank reconciliation
  • Monitor

    cash flow

    , fund utilization, and working-capital requirements
  • Assist in preparation of

    monthly MIS reports

    , profit & loss statements, and balance sheets
  • Coordinate with

    statutory auditors, tax consultants, and banks

  • Maintain proper

    documentation of invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and vouchers

  • Support

    TDS compliance

    (deduction, challans, and returns)
  • Ensure compliance with

    Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and GST laws

  • Assist management with

    financial analysis and budgeting

    when required

    Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience

    in accounting roles within

    infrastructure, construction, EPC, or renewable energy companies

  • Strong hands-on experience with

    Tally (Prime/ERP), MS Excel

    , and

    GST Portal

  • Practical knowledge of

    GST compliance

    including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and

    GSTR-2B reconciliation

  • Good understanding of

    works contract accounting

    , project-wise cost tracking, and RA bill accounting
  • Experience in

    vendor & client reconciliation

    , retention money, and milestone-based billing
  • Knowledge of

    TDS provisions

    , challan payment, and return filing
  • Familiarity with

    banking operations

    , BRS, fund transfers, and payment scheduling
  • Ability to prepare

    monthly MIS reports

    , P&L statements, and assist in finalization of accounts
  • Exposure to coordination with

    statutory auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams

  • Strong attention to detail with

    high accuracy and compliance orientation

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
  • Good communication skills and a

    professional approach to documentation and reporting
