Accountant (Kerala Kozhikode, India)

JOB OVERVIEW:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
• Conduct bank reconciliations and customer/vendor balance reviews.
• Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger, accounts. payable/receivable, and expense tracking.
• Monitor daily sales across retail boutiques and reconcile with POS systems.
• Ensure timely bank payments and manage cash flow.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and purchase orders.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and perform regular backups.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant (2–4 years preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
