As a Senior Accountant at Maraimalainagar, your role involves: - Supervision and control of Accounts in general - Handling GST returns and reconciliation - Managing TDS returns and reconciliation - Dealing with TCS - Utilizing Tally Prime for accounting tasks - Reconciling monthly stock statements and preparing them for banking purposes To qualify for this position, you should have: - Over 5 years of professional accounting experience - A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant field Additional responsibilities for this role include: - Generating MIS Reports - Preparing P&L statements for MIS - Finalizing accounts and providing support to auditors - Maintaining General Ledgers - Calculating depreciation - Finalizing audit books - Familiarity with statutory requirements like MSME act, DGFT, and Customs - Experience in banking operations including Letter of Credit, Bill Discounting, Bank charges reconciliation, Packing Credit, Currency Hedging, Online banking, Bank sanction letters, and renewal documentation - Understanding of Import and Exports regulations, policies, and schemes - Keeping Cost Accounting records & conducting Cost Audit for statutory purposes - Ensuring Annual Statutory Compliance with IT, GST, and Company Law If you are interested in this role, kindly send your resume to sankaran@kbsconsultants.com.
