Accountant Intern

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant Intern to join our finance team. This role offers hands-on experience in accounting practices, financial reporting, and day-to-day operations of a finance department in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting entries and reconciliations
• Support preparation of financial reports, invoices, and expense statements
• Help manage accounts payable/receivable and bank statements
• Assist in maintaining financial records and documents
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Work closely with senior accountants and finance staff on various tasks
• Perform general administrative and clerical duties as required

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA in Finance or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
