We are seeking a skilled Manager Accounting to join our -Caterpillar Financial Services India Private Limited
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore Caterpillar PSN office-KA
What you will do
Manages the financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing and other accounting functions for the organization.
- Producing accurate and timely financial reports, for internal and external use, in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Preparing or leading preparation of reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present and expected operations.
- Ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organization are followed; working closely with internal auditors, public accountants, federal tax examiners, and other financial professionals ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
- Overseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staff and providing for their professional development; analysing and solving accounting problems.
- Financial Budgeting: - Building financial models and projections.- Creating, monitoring, and adjusting budgets across departments.- Presenting financial insights clearly and working with cross-functional teams.- Comparing actuals to budgeted figures and explaining discrepancies.- Projecting future financial performance based on historical data and trends.
- Regulatory Reporting:- Familiarity with RBI guidelines such as DNBS returns, CRILC, NeSL, PCA Framework, and SARFAESI Act reporting- Ability to reconcile differences between Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Local GAAP, and US GAAP- Knowledge of CRAR calculations, stress testing, and equity injection requirements under RBIs Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Procedures- Monthly and quarterly filings to RBI including DNBS4B, DNBS08, FLA, AML, and fraud reports
Taxation
- Understands Deferred Taxation in detail primarily in the context of Return to Provision Analysis, GAAP and tax Reconciliations, Valuation Allowance, etc.
- Has good working knowledge of Goods & Service Tax (GST) Compliance managing GST audits, responding to notices, applying judicial/regulatory interpretations, etc.
- Understands Tax planning and provisioning managing advance tax calculations, handles tax assessments, Tax SOX Controls, maintaining necessary documentations, etc.
- Understand Transfer Pricing understand the functional and transactional analysis, benchmarking & TP documentations, handling TP assessments, etc.
What you will have
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+years of relevant experience into Accounting, Budgeting and Regulatory Reporting.
