Job Description

Agravanshi Pvt Ltd is looking to hire two qualified Accountants for our Sponge Iron Manufacturing unit in Durgapur. The ideal candidates should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in statutory compliance, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime
• Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform reconciliation
• Handle Payroll Processing including salary, attendance, and statutory deductions
• Record manufacturing, consumption, and production entries
• Manage TDS computation, deduction, and return filing
• Ensure compliance with PF & ESI regulations
• Perform Bank Reconciliation, Ledger Scrutiny, and Vendor Reconciliation
• Assist in monthly closing, MIS reporting, and management reviews
• Support internal and statutory audits and prepare required documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Commerce (B.Com)
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, PF & ESI compliance
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
