Role Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role also involves managing revenue recognition for software sales/subscriptions, handling vendor/client payments, and supporting management with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Oversee GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
• Reconcile bank accounts, client payments, and vendor accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Manages end-to-end accounting activities for the UK office, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, month-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions and contracts.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to provide financial insights.

Requirements:

• Qualified

  Chartered Accountant (CA)

  .
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to

  UK accounting standards

  or international financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of

  Tally / QuickBooks / Xero / ERP systems

  (as applicable).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
