We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Mumbai office. You will be responsible for managing invoicing, client account statements, receivables/payables, monthly P&L reporting, and outstanding ledgers. You will work closely with our Mauritius head office and clients for payment follow-ups and financial reporting. All work will be conducted using Zoho Books and Zoho People. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Client Billing & Invoicing: Generate and issue monthly invoices to clients in INR/USD/MUR as applicable using Zoho Books Prepare and send monthly client statements ✅ Receivables & Follow-ups: Maintain accounts receivable ledgers Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients via email/phone for timely collections Reconcile incoming payments and update ledger ✅ Accounts Payable: Record supplier/vendor invoices and update accounts payable ledger Ensure timely payment tracking and reporting ✅ Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit Profit & Loss (P&L) statement every month to Mauritius head office Maintain accurate general ledger of all expenses and income Assist in preparing MIS and cash flow reports as needed ✅ Zoho System Management: Daily bookkeeping and entries in Zoho Books Manage employee leave/attendance via Zoho People
