Job Description

In this role as an Accounting Professional, your primary responsibility will be to operate, support, and review the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end activities, and processes for designated UK clients. You will collaborate with the supervisor and designated clients on their daily functions, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of queries within established turnaround times. Additionally, you will be required to train new resources as needed and document processes as detailed SOPs. Key Responsibilities: - Review accounting and financial reporting for assigned clients - Interact with clients via email and/or phone when necessary - Adhere strictly to SLAs and escalate issues to the supervisor - Train new resources and document processes as SOPs - Finalize financial reports and management accounts for clients - Capture task requests in Smartsheet and collaborate with clients and supervisor - Determine and collect additional information for data collection - Generate and edit reports - Schedule training programs for clients Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of accounting concepts - Proficiency in software like Xero, QuickBooks, Tax Filer, Tax Calc, etc. - Ability to produce workpapers for year-end and management accounts - Excellent communication skills In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers various perks and benefits including professional certifications, team building activities, paid maternity leave, professional development training programs, rewards and recognition for star performers, international travel opportunities, and the chance to be part of different committees within the organization (ISO, Sustainability, CSR, etc.).
