Account Manager

Job Role & Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee complete accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Inventory Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
  
• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with statutory requirements.
  
• Manage consolidation of accounts and ensure accurate reporting through SAP.
  

2. SAP Finance (FI/CO) Operations

• Supervise end-to-end SAP processes such as:
  
• Vendor & customer master data
  
• Cost centre accounting
  
• Material ledger posting
  
• Inventory valuation & reconciliation
  
• Coordinate SAP-related issue resolution with internal teams and external consultants.
  
• Lead implementation of finance modules, configuration changes, and system upgrades.
  

3. Budgeting, Costing & MIS

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  
• Develop and monitor internal financial controls and standard costing for electrical products.
  
• Generate monthly MIS reports on sales, inventory, production costs, working capital, and profitability.
  

4. Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory audit requirements.
  
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns, reconciliation with SAP, and annual financial audit documentation.
  
• Handle interactions with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  

5. Inventory, Production & Material Accounting

• Monitor stock movement, material consumption, and production costing through SAP.
  
• Manage inter-department coordination with Purchase, Store, and Production departments.
  
• Conduct periodic stock verification, costing accuracy, BOM review, and job work accounting.
  

6. Receivables, Payables & Banking

• Oversee credit control, payment cycles, vendor reconciliation and customer ageing.
  
• Manage fund flow, cash flow planning, LC documentation, bank reconciliations, and working capital management.
  

7. Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Lead and mentor the accounting team and ensure timely closing of books.
  
• Develop and implement SOPs for finance and accounting processes.
  
• Improve automation, reduce manual intervention, and strengthen internal financial systems using SAP functionalities.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

  CA / CMA / MBA in Finance / M.Com

• Experience:

  815 years in manufacturing sector; electrical industry preferred

• Software:

  SAP (FI/CO mandatory), MS Excel (Advanced), Tally (optional)
• Strong knowledge in GST, costing, financial analysis, and audit management
  
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
