Account Manager

The Account Manager role involves overseeing financial transactions, maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing relationships with stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations, overseeing cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies, coordinating with internal and external auditors for audits and financial reviews, and maintaining tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions, collaborating with internal departments to streamline financial processes, guiding junior accountants, and ensuring smooth financial operations. Identifying and implementing financial process improvements, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency in financial operations, and working towards enhancing overall financial processes will be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Preferred MBA), along with 3-5 years of experience in financial management or accounting. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or SAP, a strong understanding of financial regulations and tax laws, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this role. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and experience in the microfinance or financial services sector are preferred qualifications.
