Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client-related sales communications, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients to negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements, ensuring timely and accurate execution of contracts.
  • Track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and maintain up-to-date revenue forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Provide regular sales reports, performance updates, and risk assessments to internal stakeholders and management.
  • Drive the entire sales process from pipeline generation to successful account closure, focusing on maximizing revenue and long-term client value.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams--including product managers, sales engineers, and customer support--to deliver a seamless customer experience and resolve service or technical concerns.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion within the assigned client portfolio.
  • Ensure timely renewals and proactively address potential churn risks by understanding client needs and delivering value.

Experience Requirements:

  • 8 to 15 years of progressive experience in sales, with a strong focus on selling products to IT departments within banks and financial services organizations.
  • Proven track record in managing enterprise-level accounts, developing sales pipelines, and successfully closing high-value deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals in highly competitive markets.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and decision-makers at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and sales productivity tools to manage sales cycles and client communications efficiently.
  • Familiarity with observability platforms or related technologies such as cybersecurity, IT operations, or infrastructure monitoring solutions.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret sales data, identify business trends, and refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Experience in working with partner ecosystems and managing relationships with resellers or channel partners to drive joint business outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented professional with a high degree of ownership and accountability in driving business outcomes.
