Account Executive

As an Account Executive in Indore reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Your role will involve managing various accounting activities such as bank reconciliations, tax audits, and financial reporting. It is essential to have strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail to maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date financial data. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts effectively. - Execute month-end and year-end closing activities. - Prepare tax filings, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and capital project accounting. - Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. - Monitor financial transactions and accounting operations to ensure adherence to company policies. - Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations. - Collaborate with other departments to deliver financial insights and strategic recommendations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus). - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. - Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. - Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit support. In addition to the specific job role, this position offers full-time employment with a day shift schedule. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software would be considered as preferred qualifications.,
