Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience to handle complete accounting responsibilities for our India and UK entities. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliance, and multi-currency transactions, along with the ability to effectively coordinate with cross-border teams.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Manage statutory compliance for GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and various Indian tax filings.
  • Support UK compliance activities including VAT returns, PAYE, pension contributions, and HMRC filings.
  • Ensure all government filings and submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist auditors during internal, statutory, and tax audits.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor invoices, payments, purchase orders, and expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare customer invoices, follow up on collections, and maintain ageing reports.
  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts periodically.

Payroll Support

  • Assist with monthly payroll processing for India and UK regions.
  • Maintain employee reimbursement records and ensure compliance with local payroll laws.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare MIS reports, financial summaries, and variance analysis as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ledger records, and audit-ready files.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and adherence to company financial policies.

Software & Tools

  • Work with accounting tools such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Use MS Excel effectively (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, MIS reporting).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA Inter preferred).
  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably with exposure to international accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and basic understanding of UK accounting practices.
  • Experience in GST, TDS, VAT, payroll coordination, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams across India and the UK.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and maintain confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
