As an Accounts Executive , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of accounting, financial, and compliance-related tasks. Your role will support the senior management in driving financial stability, growth, and the implementation of best practices in accounting and finance operations. Key Responsibilities : Financial Statements : Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Statutory and Tax Compliance : Be well-versed in statutory audits, tax audits, transfer pricing studies, ROC filings, and other compliance requirements. Ensure that all compliance obligations are met without overrun costs. Audit and Regulatory Liaison : Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary to ensure timely audits and compliance. Accounting Standards : Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including adherence to IND-AS and IFRS standards. Payroll and Vendor Management : Establish and manage payroll processes. Oversee vendor management to ensure timely payments for value received, maintaining effective internal controls. Month-End, Quarter-End, and Annual Close Process : Review and improve the month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes. Communicate these processes clearly to all key stakeholders and implement necessary improvements. Team Management : Manage and mentor a team of accountants. Oversee day-to-day activities, provide guidance, and ensure professional development. Process Documentation : Review and document critical accounting processes, including revenue recognition, expense handling, and capitalization. Internal Controls : Implement adequate internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements under the Companies Act. Financial Control and Risk Management : Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with company procedures. Develop and implement financial policies, risk management strategies, and internal controls. Financial Planning & Analysis : Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability and sustainable growth. Taxation Matters : Handle taxation matters, including direct and indirect taxes, GST, ESI, PF, PT, and corporate tax planning. Financial Performance Monitoring : Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for business decision-making. Capital Allocation and Fund Management : Collaborate with senior management on capital allocation, fund management, and investment strategies. Financial Reporting : Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial statements, Management Information System (MIS) reports, and board presentations. Banking and Regulatory Liaison : Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth financial operations. Leadership : Demonstrate leadership and ownership attributes. Inspire and instill confidence in all stakeholders. Collaboration : Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail : Identify, define, and resolve issues with a keen eye for detail, ensuring compliance with company standards. Staff Development : Train and develop staff. Set performance goals and conduct performance evaluations to drive growth and quality work. Process Escalation : Serve as the first point of contact for all process-related activities and escalations, ensuring efficient issue resolution. Candidate Requirements Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance , or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA) are a plus. Experience : At least 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. Skills : Strong understanding of IND-AS , IFRS , tax laws, and auditing processes. Proficiency in accounting software , Microsoft Excel , and financial reporting tools . Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
