Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and financial records accurately.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing, billing, and follow-ups.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company expenses.
  • Prepare financial reports and MIS for management review.
  • Understand and implement the company internal accounting system and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial laws.
  • Handle VAT calculations, filings, and documentation as per UK requirements.
  • Coordinate with Management and HR for invoice approvals and payment updates.
  • Update all transactions using Xero, Tally, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready financial records.
  • Take ownership of accounts accurately and financial responsibility.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
