As an Account Director - Public Relations at MyCommsGlobal, you will play a crucial role in leading client relationships, maintaining revenue streams, and driving business growth through strategic account management and new business development. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team to execute high-impact PR campaigns, align stakeholders, and ensure exceptional client experiences. In terms of new business development and growth, you will be expected to identify and pursue new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts. Leveraging personal and industry relationships to generate leads, drive revenue growth, and actively participate in client pitches and proposals will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be required to develop tailored strategies for client acquisition and market expansion while maintaining a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities for agency growth. Client and stakeholder management will be a key aspect of your role. Acting as the senior escalation point for major accounts, you will ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with client stakeholders, including C-suite decision-makers, and developing PR strategies aligned with client business objectives will be essential. Proactively engaging stakeholders to anticipate needs and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities while aligning internal teams, client stakeholders, and partners for seamless campaign execution will also be part of your responsibilities. As a leader, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of PR professionals to deliver outstanding results. Fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on professional growth, identifying skill gaps, conducting training sessions to upskill the team, and being accountable for recruitment and onboarding of new team members will be crucial to strengthen agency capabilities. To be successful in this role, you should have 10+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, or related fields with a strong track record in client servicing and business development. Proven experience in new business acquisition, strong media relations experience, and experience managing PR campaigns across multiple geographies are desired. Prior experience in a PR agency is preferred, with proficiency in measuring PR impact, analyzing coverage, and reporting insights to clients. Strong problem-solving skills, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and familiarity with PR analytics tools and CRM software are also essential.
