Role Description:

We are hiring a Bookkeeper & Payroll Officer for a full-time, on-site position in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, processing payroll for Australian clients, and ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing BAS and PAYG reports, and collaborating with our Australian team for timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Process payroll in accordance with Australian regulations
• Prepare and reconcile BAS, PAYG, and superannuation contributions
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
• Collaborate with the Australian team to ensure timely reporting

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting and payroll standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Handi, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
