Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accessibility Testing Architect / Subject Matter Expert to lead accessibility initiatives ensuring our digital products and platforms are inclusive and accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in accessibility standards, regulations, and testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and define accessibility testing strategy for web and mobile applications. Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing across websites, apps, and software products. Evaluate digital products for compliance against WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and other relevant standards. Collaborate closely with development, QA, UX/UI, and product teams to embed accessibility best practices throughout the product lifecycle. Provide expert guidance on accessibility tools, frameworks, and testing approaches. Develop and maintain documentation, checklists, and guidelines related to accessibility testing. Perform accessibility audits and assessments; ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Identify, report, and track accessibility defects with timely resolution. Stay current with accessibility trends, tools, and regulatory changes to inform testing practices. Engage with product owners and designers to prioritize accessibility early in product development. Work with third-party accessibility audit vendors as needed. Ensure accessibility testing covers a broad spectrum of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments. Integrate accessibility testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Liaise with external stakeholders to meet accessibility requirements. Prepare and present accessibility compliance reports to stakeholders and senior management. Develop strategies for testing with diverse assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers like JAWS/NVDA, voice recognition software). Maintain proper configuration and upkeep of accessibility testing tools and environments. Analyze user feedback to recommend accessibility improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 11+ years of hands-on experience in Accessibility Testing methodologies and tools. Strong knowledge of WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and other accessibility standards and regulations. Proficiency with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, NVDA, JAWS, Funkify, ARC toolkit, Color Contrast Analyzer. Solid skills in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working with assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, etc.). Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work across cross-functional teams.
