ACADEMIC COUSELOR

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Guidance:

· Provide personalized academic counselling to students to help them make informed decisions about their education.

· Assist students in setting academic goals and creating plans to achieve them.

· Address academic concerns and provide solutions to enhance student performance.

2. Career Counselling:

· Conduct career assessments and help students explore potential career paths.

· Provide information about various academic and professional opportunities.

· Assist students in making informed decisions about their future careers.

3. Educational Planning:

· Collaborate with students to develop personalized academic plans.

· Provide information about course requirements, curriculum options, and academic policies.

· Help students navigate the course selection process based on their interests and career goals.

4. Support Services:

· Identify students in need of additional support and connect them with relevant resources.

· Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to address academic and personal challenges.

· Monitor students' progress and intervene when necessary to ensure academic success.

5. Parental Communication:

· Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress.

· Address parental concerns and collaborate to create a supportive educational environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Plus Two/12th grade).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathy: Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges students face.
• Organizational Skills: Effective organization and time management skills.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computer applications for record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: In education, counselling, psychology, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ experience in academic counselling or related roles.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in counselling or education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
