Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor located in New Delhi. The Academic Counselor will guide students through their academic and career planning process, provide counseling on studying in Germany, assess students’ qualifications for various programs, and assist with the admissions and visa application process. The role also involves helping students make informed decisions about their educational and career paths, building a supportive environment, and efficiently addressing queries and challenges.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to help students navigate their academic and professional aspirations
• Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and partner institutions
• Experience in Academic Advising and Education to evaluate student needs and align them with suitable academic programs
• Ability to work collaboratively, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience or knowledge of the German education system is highly advantageous
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Counseling, or Human Resources
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory; knowledge of German language is an added advantage
