Role Description

The Academic Counselor role at Vedantu is a full-time position based on-site in Chennai. The counselor will guide students in identifying their academic and career goals, assist in developing personalized learning plans, and provide ongoing support to help students achieve success. Responsibilities include advising students, conducting counseling sessions, addressing academic concerns, and collaborating closely with the educational team to develop strategies to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively toward educational and professional aspirations.
Strong Communication abilities and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students and their families.
Experience in Academic Advising and Education, with a solid understanding of academic planning and curriculum requirements.
Ability to build rapport with students and adapt to their unique needs and aspirations.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms or educational technology is an advantage.
