Academic Counselor

Role Overview: As an Academic Counsellor for Data Science/AI/ML programs, your main responsibility will be to engage with potential learners, understand their career goals, and recommend suitable programs to help them achieve their objectives. This role involves consultative sales, requiring exceptional communication skills, domain knowledge, and effective conversion abilities. Key Responsibilities: - Counsel prospective students through various channels such as calls, emails, and chats to assist them in selecting the appropriate Data Science, AI, or ML programs. - Analyze learner objectives and propose suitable programs based on their background and aspirations. - Convert high-quality leads into successful enrolments by effectively showcasing the value of the programs. - Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure timely follow-ups to provide necessary information and support. - Meet and exceed monthly enrolment and revenue targets through proactive outreach and engagement. - Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and competitive programs to provide up-to-date advice to learners. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Fresher to 2 years of experience in EdTech, inside sales, or academic counselling, preferably in tech-related courses. - Strong understanding of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or relevant technologies to effectively guide learners. - Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills to engage with potential students and address their queries. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment by demonstrating resilience and adaptability. - Familiarity with CRM tools like LeadSquared or Salesforce to manage leads and track interactions efficiently.
