Academic Counselor

Role Overview: As an Academic Counsellor for Data Science/AI/ML programs, your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential learners and understand their career aspirations. You will then recommend suitable programs to help them achieve their goals. This role involves consultative sales, where your excellent communication skills, domain knowledge, and conversion abilities will be key to success. Key Responsibilities: - Counsel prospective students through calls, emails, and chats to assist them in selecting the right Data Science, AI, or ML programs. - Analyze learner objectives and propose appropriate programs based on their educational background. - Convert high-quality leads into successful enrollments. - Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure timely follow-ups. - Achieve and exceed monthly enrollment and revenue targets. - Keep abreast of industry trends, tools, and competitor programs. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 0-2 years of experience in EdTech, inside sales, or academic counseling (preferably in tech-related courses). - Solid understanding of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or relevant technologies. - Proficient in communication, persuasion, and negotiation. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. - Familiarity with CRM tools like LeadSquared or Salesforce.
