Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our Thrissur branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding students through the entire study abroad process, from understanding their educational background and career goals to assisting with university selection, applications, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students on study abroad options based on their academic profile, career aspirations, and financial background.
• Provide detailed information on universities, courses, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa procedures.
• Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries and follow up with potential leads.
• Guide students through the application process — from document preparation to submission.
• Coordinate with the admissions and visa teams to ensure a smooth and timely process.
• Maintain accurate student records and regularly update the CRM system.
• Conduct seminars, webinars, and counselling sessions to promote overseas education opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and university partners.
• Achieve individual and team enrolment targets as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (any discipline).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in academic counselling or the overseas education sector (freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a target-driven environment.
• Good knowledge of international education systems (especially UK, Canada, and Australia) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
