Role Overview

The Admission Counsellor plays a key role in driving student enrolments, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. The role involves counselling students and parents, understanding learner needs, and converting leads into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-ups and outbound cold calls/emails
  • Counsel students and parents on suitable programs and career paths
  • Manage the complete student admission process and achieve enrolment targets
  • Understand customer requirements and effectively pitch appropriate programs
  • Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets
  • Support students one-on-one through course selection, application process, and deadlines
  • Assist students in collecting and submitting required documentation
  • Provide accurate information regarding admissions, enrolment processes, and procedures
  • Maintain timely and systematic communication with applicants and parents
  • Update and manage leads and application data using CRM systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong ability to empathize and build relationships with students and parents
  • Target-driven mindset with a strong inclination toward sales
  • Proven experience in converting leads into successful enrolments
  • Prior experience working with CRM tools
  • Fluency in

    English and Hindi

    (mandatory)
  • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in EdTech, education sales, or counselling roles is an advantage
  • Ability to handle high-volume leads and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
