Job Description

Position: Academic Co-ordinator
Department: Academics / Curriculum & Training
Reporting To: Head – Academics / Academic Director

Position Summary

The Academic Co-ordinator plays a key role in ensuring academic excellence across all franchise preschool centres. The role involves supporting curriculum implementation, teacher training, academic audits, and providing academic guidance to franchise partners. The Academic Co-ordinator acts as a bridge between the central academic team and individual centres to maintain consistency, quality, and innovation in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Implementation
  • Ensure smooth rollout of prescribed curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching resources across centres.
  • Guide teachers on effective classroom practices aligned with the franchisor’s philosophy.
  • Training & Development
  • Conduct teacher orientation and ongoing training workshops.
  • Develop training material, academic manuals, and teacher support documents.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Conduct academic audits and classroom observations at centres.
  • Provide constructive feedback and improvement plans for teachers and centre heads.
  • Support & Guidance
  • Assist franchise partners with academic queries and ensure curriculum-related compliance.
  • Address challenges faced in classroom execution and recommend solutions.
  • Curriculum Enhancement
  • Collaborate with the central team to update and enrich academic content.
  • Research best practices in early childhood education and recommend new initiatives.
  • Parent Engagement
  • Support centres in organizing parent orientation sessions, PTMs, and academic showcases.
  • Assist in developing parent communication content (circulars, newsletters, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development / Education or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in preschool / early childhood academic roles.
  • Prior experience in teacher training, curriculum delivery, or academic coordination preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of early childhood pedagogy and child development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor teachers effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to franchise centres as required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful curriculum implementation across centres.
  • Number and quality of teacher trainings conducted.
  • Academic audit scores and improvements across franchise centres.
  • Timely support provided to franchise partners on academic matters.
  • Teacher and parent satisfaction levels (feedback, survey results).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
