As a Senior Associate in Financial Planning and Analysis at EY, you will be responsible for various key activities related to planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting to support global functions and decision-making processes. Your role will involve interacting with budget holders, preparing high-level analysis reports for leadership, reviewing financial reports, and ensuring timely delivery of reporting packs to key stakeholders. Additionally, you will be involved in coordinating with various teams such as GL, AP, Billing, and Treasury to address client queries, as well as acting as a finance consultant to maintain accounts and ensure quality compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for Planning, Budgeting, and Outlook exercises for Global functions - Provide timely reporting of actual operating expenses and headcount variances, analyzing and explaining spend variances - Forecast operational and cost analysis for business decision-making - Present monthly and quarterly financial reports to various units and departments - Review and deliver high-level reports to EYG Leadership on a regular/ad-hoc basis - Work on internal projects and drive the team to deliver on project requirements - Manage escalations effectively and develop backup plans for transition activities - Coordinate with GL, AP, Billing, and Treasury teams to address client queries Skills and Attributes Required: - Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills - Logical and analytical thinking abilities - Decisiveness on real-time basis - People management skills - Good business knowledge and acumen Qualifications Needed: - Masters in Finance and Accounting with 3-5 years of experience in core finance - Relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis - Professional qualifications such as CA/CPA, CGMA, CFA are preferred - Advanced Excel knowledge and strong accounting background Furthermore, EY offers a dynamic and global work environment through its Global Delivery Services (GDS) network across various locations.
