About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated 3D Web Developer who can help us integrate .obj files generated from our 3D scanner into our web application. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 3D file formats, rendering technologies like WebGL or Three.js, and a solid understanding of front-end web development. Additionally, a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms is required to optimize rendering, performance, and file handling.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop a seamless user experience to upload, view, and interact with .obj files in a web interface.

* Implement 3D rendering using Three.js, Babylon.js, WebGL, or similar technologies.

* Optimize 3D file loading and rendering performance for web.

* Ensure cross-platform compatibility across browsers and devices.

* Collaborate with the backend team to store and serve 3D assets efficiently.

* Apply data structures for optimizing rendering pipelines, scene management, and client-side storage.

* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills:

* Strong experience with JavaScript, WebGL, Three.js, or Babylon.js.

* Hands-on experience with handling .obj, .mtl, and other 3D file formats.

* Understanding of browser limitations and performance tuning for large 3D models.

* Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms and their practical applications in web development.

* Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud storage (like S3), and file uploads.

* Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React/Vue/Angular) is a plus.

Nice to Have:

* Experience with 3D scanning pipelines or photogrammetry.

* Background in game development or CAD-based applications.

* Basic backend knowledge (Node.js, Express, or Python) to assist in integration.
