3D Motion Graphics Artist

As a 3D Generalist at Knack Studios, you will play a crucial role in creating and integrating 3D assets for VFX projects. Your primary responsibility will be to composite and integrate various FX elements into scenes, ensuring realism and alignment with the desired visual style. Your adaptability to different project requirements and attention to detail will be essential in delivering high-quality work within project timelines. You will collaborate closely with other departments to seamlessly integrate 3D elements into final shots and ensure visual coherence and narrative impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Composite and integrate FX elements like muzzle flashes, rain, smoke, and blood into scenes, maintaining realism and visual style alignment. - Seamlessly integrate 3D elements into final shots by collaborating with other artists and departments. - Analyze edit references and descriptions to accurately interpret visual requirements and storytelling objectives. - Perform roto work and tracking to align CG elements with live-action footage accurately. - Create and animate 3D FX elements such as explosions and fire, optimizing for rendering and integration. - Ensure shots align with references, maintaining consistency in framing, timing, and composition. **Qualifications Required:** - Ability to create and animate motion graphics in After Effects. - Advanced proficiency in animation and integrating FX elements. - Strong leadership and collaboration skills for team coordination. - Expertise in compositing, roto work, tracking, and crowd simulation. - Attention to detail in quality control and adherence to project specifications. - Effective communication and problem-solving skills. In addition to the technical skills required for this role, you should possess a Diploma or degree in VFX, Animation, or a relevant field. With at least 1 year of professional experience in a senior 3D generalist role, you should also have a showreel or portfolio highlighting your relevant work.
