Job Description As a 3D Artist at Knack Studios, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning effects and animations for projects based in Chennai and Hyderabad. Your primary focus will be on producing high-quality work in areas such as match move, camera tracking, and 3D animation. Your role will involve working with cutting-edge technologies to bring creative visions to life. You will need to have a strong understanding of camera tracking, rigid-body tracking, and the use of survey data to generate accurate camera and object tracks. Additionally, knowledge of apertures, lenses, and distortion will be essential for producing realistic visual effects. In this position, proficiency in software such as Maya and HOUDINI will be crucial. You will be expected to demonstrate expertise in areas like animation, lighting, and special effects. An understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, and form will enable you to create animations that are both technically accurate and visually appealing. To qualify for this role, you should have an academic background in Arts, design, or a related field. Proficiency in tools like 3ds Max and Photoshop will be necessary for creating stunning visual compositions. Your ability to work with different art styles and understand creative workflows will be key to delivering outstanding results. Experience with software like Nuke, 3DE, Boujou, PF Track, and Maya will be advantageous. If you have experience in cloth and fur animation, it will further enhance your candidacy for this position.
