2KE Painter – PO-003

• Clean, sand, and degrease surfaces before painting.Mask areas that should not be painted. Apply primer or basecoat as per specifications.
• Mix 2KE/2KS paints using the correct hardener, thinner, and ratio.Operate spray guns (HVLP or airless) to apply coatings uniformly.Ensure proper thickness and finish as per standard.
• Operate and maintain spray booths or painting chambers.Monitor temperature, humidity, and ventilation for optimal paint curing.
• Inspect painted surfaces for coverage, smoothness, gloss, and color match.Correct defects like runs, sags, or orange peel.
• Follow safety procedures, especially when handling chemicals and solvents.Wear appropriate PPE (respirators, gloves, eye protection).Comply with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain records of paint batches, components used, and surface preparation.
• Report material usage and wastage to supervisors.
• Clean and maintain spray guns, mixing tools, and other painting equipment.
• Report faults or maintenance needs of booth or tools.
• Accurately mix 2KE and 2KS paints as per the manufacturer's ratio and technical data sheets.Use airless or HVLP spray guns for uniform application of primer (2KE) and topcoat (2KS).Ensure correct film thickness (DFT/MFT) as per product.
