2D DRAFTSMAN (INTERIOR)

Roles and Responsibilities :-

Visit project sites to collect precise measurements (distances, angles, levels) using tape, laser tools, etc.

Draft and update 2D CAD layouts (DWG format), detailing furniture placement, site plans, elevations, sections.

Collaborate with architects/designers to incorporate furniture/layout requirements, ensure CAD drawings match design intent.

Review drawings for accuracy and completeness; flag inconsistencies.

Maintain organized CAD files and updates for versions and revisions.

Support field teams or designers with supplementary sketches and measurements as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2D drafting software such as AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of interior design principles and space planning
• Attention to detail and ability to create accurate and detailed drawings
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with team members
• Ability to adhere to project timelines and manage multiple tasks
• Previous experience in interior design projects
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
