Yoga Instructor

1. Teaching and Guiding Classes Design and lead yoga sessions suitable for different skill levels (beginner to advanced). Demonstrate and explain proper alignment and technique for asanas (poses). Offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate injuries, limitations, or varying abilities. Lead meditation, breathing (pranayama), and relaxation techniques. 2. Ensuring Safety Monitor students to prevent injury and provide physical adjustments when necessary (with consent). Create a safe, clean, and inclusive environment. Be aware of contraindications and provide appropriate guidance. 3. Planning and Preparation Prepare class sequences and themes in advance. Stay current with yoga trends and continuing education. Maintain knowledge of anatomy, philosophy, and yoga history. 4. Communication and Motivation Provide clear instructions and encouraging feedback. Build rapport with students to understand their goals and needs. Promote mindfulness, wellness, and positive lifestyle habits. 5. Professionalism and Ethics Maintain punctuality and a professional attitude. Respect student confidentiality and boundaries. Follow the ethical guidelines of yoga (such as Yamas and Niyamas, if philosophically aligned). 6. Administrative Duties (if applicable) Manage class registrations, payments, and schedules. Promote classes through marketing or social media. Keep records of attendance and client progress. 7.
